Local Police

QE is working in partnership with Devon and Cornwall Police to employ Community Police Support Officer PC Dave Pilling. PC Pilling is now a familiar face around both sites patrolling the local area as well as working with individual students to uphold the College's Safeguarding policy and maintain good links with the local community.

This team is another example of QE’s multi-agency approach to the Every Child Matters agenda – all three staff work closely with and support the ECM Year Team Leader’s in their work and provide valuable input to the weekly multi-agency site meetings.
