In the QE maths learning area we try to eliminate the fear of maths. This fear can be commonplace and represents a significant potential barrier to good learning.

We aim to replace fear with confidence in maths. Our priorities always support effective and good learning. There are a variety of teaching and learning styles in evidence in the department. This diversity supports the skills for success and helps students to become adaptable learners, not just in maths but across the board.
