ICT Key Stage 4
ICT at 14-19 offers students an opportunity to become an effective practitioner in the application of ICT to real-life contexts.
QE offer a range of courses at key stage 4 to enable learners with different skills and interests to further develop their ICT skills in a pathway suitable for them. Our BTEC courses concentrate on the practical element of ICT with learners completing coursework units throughout the course based on various areas of ICT such as graphic design, websites and ICT systems. The GCSE pathway embeds the use of ICT in a business context where the focus is in the design and implementation of solutions.
At sixth form, we offer courses for a natural progression for those offered at key stage 4 which include level 3 BTEC courses and A-level.
We are proud of the selection of ICT courses that we offer and the quality of teaching from our ICT trained specialists.
The courses that we offer can be found on the links to the right of the page and opened as PDF documents.
