The expressive Arts department at QE comprises of Art, Drama and Music. Each discipline has its own specialised space to work and is equipped to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
As a department we are concerned with encouraging the development of students who can recognise and capitalize on artistic opportunities. we value individual expression and personal development. Expressive Arts is primarily the place where students can learn to express themselves most fully and eloquently.
Each discipline within Expressive Arts has a carefully structured curriculum which supports students through Key Stage 3, developing their skills at the same time as exploring their imagination.
Expressive Arts is a popular discipline at Key Stage 4 and produces good results across the board. We have a major role within the College in terms of performances, productions and exhibitions, where there is a lot of collaboration across the different disciplines.
